With the right practice, meditation can help you to recognize these patterns of engagement and choose against them. Over time, this will help you to think more purposefully and reduce your anxiety.

Steady Mind’s meditation workshops are informed by a number of meditative practices, in particular Detached Mindfulness. This form of meditation was developed in the context of Metacognitive Therapy.

Yes, we currently accept Blue Cross and Aetna. We can also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement if you have a different insurance provider.

Our therapy practice is completely virtual, serving clients throughout Michigan. Our workshops are held in-person at Gilda’s Club of Grand Rapids.
