Specialized mental health support should be accessible to everyone navigating the life transition of vision loss, regardless of financial status.

Program Details

What it is: A volunteer program by Farid Alsabeh, LLP, offering free, high-quality psychotherapy to Michigan residents navigating blindness or visual impairment.

Who qualifies: Adults dealing with newly diagnosed conditions, progressive loss (e.g., Macular Degeneration), or sudden vision trauma.

Methodology: Evidence-based care focusing on grief, identity, and independence using CBT and Mindfulness.

Access: 100% Virtual. Geography and mobility are never barriers to receiving care.
